  1. I was really moved by this young boy's speech. He was so eloquent and expressed such an important message so clearly. I thought his connection to Martin Luther King Jr.'s quote about equality was very logical and helps people to understand how comparative sexual orientation discrimination is to racial discrimination. Very powerful video!! This should be played for classrooms. I teach third grade. I wonder what age this video would be appropriate/meaningful to students...any thoughts?

  2. Wow, as the mother of four sons, this really struck a chord. Tolerance is the message I've been sending to my family and to some respect my adult ESL students if the sexuality or gender identity of others differs from what we perceive to be the norm. After reading the assignments due for our next class and viewing this video I've concluded tolerance is unaccepatable. I'm challenging my family and my adult students to react when they encounter gender and sexual oppression just as they would react to other forms of oppression or discrimination.
